Field Coordination

TacLinX

Where your officers are, who needs help, and who actually got the call, with stale never shown as live.

In Development Not sold self-serve

TacLinX answers three questions an agency has to get right, and that ordinary tools get wrong quietly. Where are my officers. Who needs help, now. Who actually got the call.

What it is
Field coordination and push-to-talk for agencies and multi-agency task forces, with cross-agency isolation enforced by the database rather than by application code.
Who it is for
Agencies and task forces that need one operating picture without putting their data in a shared cloud tenant they cannot audit.
Price
Under development, pricing to be announced.
Runtime dependencies
Exactly two, enforced by a build gate that parses every module and fails on anything else.
Status
Phase 2 build. Pilots invited.

Why we built it

The dangerous failures in field coordination are the quiet ones. A map that shows a two-hour-old GPS fix the same way it shows a live one. An assistance request that looks sent but never arrived. A roster that silently includes another agency’s data. Each of those reads as normal operation right up until it matters.

What makes it different, evidence rather than adjectives

  • Stale is labeled stale. GPS off renders as off, and there is one render path, so nothing can display an old fix as current.
  • Delivery is proven, not assumed. Delivered is set only on a transport acknowledgement, and exhausted retries surface to the requesting officer as failed, by name.
  • Agencies cannot see each other’s data, and it is proven on every commit. Isolation is enforced by PostgreSQL row-level security, so the database refuses even when the application is wrong. An automated test applies the real migrations to a live database and asserts that a cross-agency read returns nothing. The build fails if that proof does not run.
  • No other vendor’s product code ships inside the platform. The web framework, authentication, mapping, and geocoder are Omega Point original work on permissively licensed United States foundations.

Transparency and limits

TacLinX is in a Phase 2 build and is not generally available. It is offered for pilot engagements, where the agency should expect to shape the product rather than receive a finished one.
